Opportunity

After a competitive three-agency pitch, Komatsu Australia chose us to elevate their brand awareness in Western Australia and address a pressing need: recruiting talent for over 100 roles across their operations in the region.

2-pronged campaign strategy

We took a twofold approach:

  1. Brand sponsorship: Partnering with the Perth Scorchers men’s and women’s teams, we amplified Komatsu’s brand presence locally and nationally.
  2. Employer branding: Positioning Komatsu as a tech-driven global leader, we invited job seekers to “Make the Smart Move” and explore career opportunities with the company.

Media Strategy

Our media strategy was to use a mix of both traditional media – TV, radio, outdoor – and digital media including search, social, remarketing and landing pages.

The Result

The campaign, bolstered by the Perth Scorchers sponsorship and widespread TV coverage, was a resounding success. It attracted hundreds of candidates, filling over 100 critical vacancies at Komatsu.
