We were tasked with creating an exciting new brand for Transafe WA’s groundbreaking safety education truck. This innovative program is designed to engage primary and secondary school students, as well as the broader community, across metropolitan and regional areas in WA and the NT. Its mission? To transform how people navigate the roads by teaching them the skills and awareness needed to drive safely around massive trucks, road trains, and other heavy vehicles.
With primary and secondary school students as the core audience, we knew the brand name and design needed to be nothing short of cool—something that would captivate and resonate with this all-important group while delivering a strong safety message.
This brand name iNSTRUCKTA! is an alternative treatment of the word ‘instructor’ – the term used by learner drivers to describe a driving teacher. We manipulated the spelling to insert the word truck into it and spell it in a fun way. Although the brand name is ‘Instruckta’ – the term ‘Instruckta Truck’ – which rolls of the tongue well – will be used in many cases.
By blending two bold typefaces into a single wordmark, we crafted a logo that cleverly resembles a truck pulling a trailer. Paired with striking 3D elements, this dynamic design was built to turn heads and capture the attention of school kids right on their oval.
To amp up the cool factor, we crafted sleek 3D renders and a jaw-dropping 3D animation video, designed to wow stakeholders and bring the brand to life in presentations.
