Dr Paul Bruno was preparing to launch a new premium car care brand, The Detail Dr, built on decades of hands-on detailing experience and a clinical, science-led mindset. The opportunity was to bring this new brand to market with credibility from day one, supported by a high-quality ecommerce website, packaging design, and a strong library of product imagery and video content.
Our approach was to position The Detail Dr. as a serious, professional-grade brand – avoiding gimmicks and over-claiming common in the category. The focus was on clarity, precision, and trust: products developed by a real detailer, explained clearly, and shown in real-world use. The website, photography, and video all needed to reinforce the same message: this is car care done properly.
With multiple ceramic coatings and supporting wash, prep, and interior products, it was critical that the range worked as a system rather than a collection of one-offs.
We designed a cohesive packaging system across bottles and boxes that balances technical clarity with premium presence. Each product uses consistent layout logic, clear naming, and functional information placement, allowing customers to quickly understand what the product does and how it fits into the detailing process.
Subtle graphic cues and colour differentiation help distinguish products while maintaining a unified brand system.
We produced a comprehensive library of product photography and video content, shot in a real working garage environment using prestige vehicles. The content focuses on close-up application, surface interaction, gloss, and water behaviour – prioritising authenticity over studio polish. This library supports the website, social content, and future marketing activity.
All copy was written to reflect the founder’s voice – confident, precise, and grounded in experience. Rather than leaning on marketing jargon, the language focuses on real outcomes, correct process, and disciplined car care. Founder-led storytelling plays a key role in building trust and credibility with both enthusiasts and professionals.
We designed and built a custom WooCommerce ecommerce website that presents the product range clearly and efficiently, with a clean user experience and a strong emphasis on education. Product categories, detailed product pages, and supporting How-To Guides work together to help customers understand not just what to buy, but how and why to use it.
