Husband and wife team Diana and Wolfgang, founders of Busy Bee, are both pharmacists and proudly vegetarian. When they decided to move to a larger inner-city location, they asked Milkable to help them visually transform their pharmacy business to a pharmacy and wholefoods destination in Perth CBD.
Our brand strategy was to totally transform the brand so that it would be seen as a discount pharmacy and wholefoods destination, enabling its inner-city customers to “live a healthy life for less”. This meant they would be the only discount pharmacy and wholefoods destination in the Perth CBD.
We approached this with a clean, friendly design. The icon can represent a flower, a food bowl, or a mortar and pestle – with three circles symbolising Busy Bee and its two key aspects. Supporting elements highlight the bee’s role in fostering lushness, with a colour palette promoting wellness and value.
The client is thrilled with the brand refresh, which has been met with overwhelmingly positive community feedback and resulted in increased foot traffic.
